Zhongnan Industry Business Division was founded in January, 2011 by Zhongnan Group based on the national strategy "Rejuvenation of China with manufacturing" and the "Made in China 2025" development plan. By founding the Industry Business Division, the group can realize transformation and upgrade of industrial structure and cultivate new economic growth points for the group.

Zhongnan Industry has four segments: new energy industry, engineering equipment industry, electrical equipment industry and investment industry, covering the business fields such as photovoltaic power station, formworks for construction works, ultra-light steel villa, prefabricated house, high- and low-voltage kits and tourmaline. Its total floor area is 400,000 square meters, including 250,000 square meters of existing workshops. It has over 2000 employees and its annual value of production is over RMB 2 billion.
